Preparation of Development Master Plans of Major Secondary Cities of Sindh

This ongoing project focuses on developing master plans for major secondary cities in Sindh, covering Kotri, Hala, Tando Adam, and Moro. The objective is to establish a structured urban development framework that addresses the socio-economic growth and infrastructure requirements of these cities. The master plans will guide sustainable city growth and provide actionable plans to enhance regional development initiatives, ensuring these urban centers are prepared for future demands.

Preparation of Development Master Plan for Islamkot Town

The project involved creating a comprehensive master plan for Islamkot Town in Tharparkar, aiming to enhance urban infrastructure and support sustainable development. This master plan establishes a strategic direction for socio-economic development, prioritizing infrastructure improvements to meet the long-term growth needs of the region.

Preparation of Development Master Plans of Fourteen (14) District

The project aimed to develop comprehensive development master plans for 14 district headquarter towns in the Sindh region to promote sustainable urban growth and infrastructure development. The strategic plans provide a framework for the region’s long-term growth, supporting socio-economic stability and infrastructure advancements in line with regional policies.

Structure Plan for Sadda

The main objectives of the project are recovery and rehabilitation of FATA, through the provision of better connectivity with the rest of the country, employment opportunities and essential services in selected urban centre of FATA, enabling them to become engines of economic growth in the area.

Urban Development Strategy, Larkana

The objective of the project is Preparation of Urban Development Strategy for Larkana for the next 20 years. The Study is financed by ADB through Sindh Cities Improvement Program. The development strategy will provide a framework to guide the sustainable socio-economic and infrastructure development of the city and environs by proposing a long-term development plan, sectoral economic development plans, disaster management plan and short term action plans for priority infrastructure development.

MC Khar, Bajaur Agency

Bhalwal Industrial Estate

The project is related to launch of a new Industrial Estate in Bhalwal located in the citrus and sugar cane producing area of Punjab. The objective is to develop industrial estates with private partnership to help small and medium scale industries, and provide them one-window operation.

ONTC Head Office Complex

ONTC has proposed creative utilization of ONTC’s two sites for the construction of ONTC Head Office Complex. ONTC is expanding its operation and appointed EA as consultant for master planning on two sites measuring 90,000 sq.m and 18,000 sq.m respectively in Al-Adhuiba, Muscat, Oman. The design brief included master planning for development of head office building, hotel, shopping mall and reconstruction of workshop facility at site of 90,000 sq.m. Besides, planning and conceptual design of staff housing 18,000 sq.m site had also been planned. The Consultant have completed the contractual requirement of master planning and conceptual designs.

SMBB Towns

The Project related to the Development of Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto towns (43 locations) in various towns/ cities of Sindh province including Karachi and Hyderabad. The objective is to create 42,476 plots measuring 120 sq yds on 2,414 acres of land, with all utility services and community facilities. The plots are meant to be given to the poorest of poor and people of low income groups.
