Bawany Sugar Mills

The mill includes complete unit for sugarcane crushing, processing and refining plant for a gross production of 1.3 million tons of white sugar and 0.72 million tons of molasses along with 47 megawatt power plant operate able through bagaas; residential colony for O&M staff and labor colony for over 450 persons. Major portion of crushing area, main plant and the generating house comprises steel structure and includes Steel Trusses and Gable Frames on isolated Foundations and single Pile Foundation while office block, residential and labor colony was constructed based on RCC structure.

Aga Khan Storm Water Drainage

Report for this project comprises the study for the levels of catchments area, preparation of alternative proposals for storm water drainage and outfall, detailed design of drainage channels, structures, culverts and outfalls.

Mass Transit Priority Corridor 1

The project was awarded to a consortium of international bidders lead by SNC Leuvlin of Canada, at a total price of 550 million dollars. This corridor was assigned the highest priority among the six corridors proposed in the feasibility study. This project was conducted in four phases because the client did not have access to funds allocated for the design of this project. These phases include the Environmental impact analysis, Involuntary resettlement plan, Preliminary design, Detailed design and Preparation of tender documents, on BOT basis.

Gravity Water Supply Scheme

This project provides a water supply system based on the water springs in the surrounding hills of Abbottabad city. This entailed water discharge measurements of available source and their seasonal variations and selection of source, site of intake work and alignment of transmission main.

Gizri Creek in DHA

The project comprises the Dredging in the Navigation Channel of Marina Club to keep it operative even in the lowest tidal conditions; Slope Protection by constructing a new Protection Wall from Marina club to Savor Restaurant; Making a cleaner Environment by removing the intoxicants/ pollutants from the Gizri Creek and Associated Back filling works.

Gwadar Rail Link

Pakistan Railways intends to provide a railway link from Gwadar Deep Sea Port to the existing railway network near Quetta. The purpose of this railway link is to capture the present and future freight traffic of Gwadar Port.

Nawab Akbar Bugti Stadium

In addition to Main Pavilion, this stadium provides most modern facilities for national and international media coverage of the cricket matches through its media center. The Main Pavilion provides facilities like Cafeteria and related services at the ground floor and Player lounges, VVIP seating and related services at the first floor. The media center also has a dormitory for the players at the ground floor. The seating for the general public is provided in the form of open tiers in a circular shape around the playing field.

Baberlo-Ghotki Section

The Additional Carriageway Baberlo-Ghotki Section, National Highway N-5 (Contract GOP-3) covers approximately 59 kms in length and runs parallel to the existing N-5 [National Highway]. This section passes through some difficult terrain like heavy rock cuts and water logged areas. The project starts at a junction after Baberlo town from where a road going towards west leads to Sukkur city over a Sukkur barrage on river Indus and terminates at approximately 4.5 kms before Ghotki city. It includes 2 bypasses, 10 canal bridges, 1 overhead bridge, 1 underpass, 70 box and 68 pipe culverts. The road consists of 7.3 m carriageway with 3m and 1.5m double surface dressed shoulders. The bypasses are located at Rohri and Pano Aqil town.

Balakot – Naran section

The project is a rehabilitation of National Highway N-15, Basian-Balakot-Naran Section, one of the badly damaged four major roads by the earthquake of October 2005, has been undertaken by NHA under contract -16, 65 km, with financial assistance from the World Bank. The first phase starts from km 37+600 and ends at km 81+600 (Balakot to Mahandri 44 km length). The road lies to the east of the river “Kunhar” in a steep side valley. The damage is extensive and comprises slips, slides and longitudinal and transverse cracks. The rehabilitation stategy includes widening the vROW from 13 m to 20 m improving the alignment reconstruction of retaining wall, breast wall and reconstruction of Bridges, Culverts and Causeways.
